Tiny Commercial Spots was created because not only do I love real estate, I’m obsessed with real estate! Ok for serious here… I really started this page because I saw a void in the tiny, micro, small commercial real estate market (we call it Tiny Commercial Spots). Yeah, you have your major commercial site(s), but those I feel take away and overshadow the uniqueness of them.
Yes, I was a real estate agent in the past, and it all began when my husband and I bought our first Tiny Commercial Spot. As I was processing and adding it to the MLS I realized that some of these major sites don’t offer any commercial listings and if they do, they are super duper expensive and are usually target large commercial real estate. So not only did I feel like there was a need, but wanted to start Tiny Commercial Spots to help these commercial spots get the exposure they deserve.
I love the architecture, the potential, and the hard work that is involved in transforming a space. As a hobby, I love researching unique small/micro/tiny commercial properties from coast to coast. I especially love the ones that are tiny and need the most transformation. Whether it’s in a small town or in a major city I love to see the potential. It gets my heart pumping! I hope the information provided helps inspire you to jump into the deep end and start your own business.

The Story
The story begins with a tiny commercial property in Brighton Colorado and a wife obsessed with real estate and the American dream of owning a business. Purchasing our first commercial property and starting a small business gave us the ability to raise our newborn without utilizing childcare and at the same time fulfilling the desire of the American dream.
Location, location, location – It was a foreclosed property on Bridge street which is the main street going through the middle of a small town just north of Denver called Brighton. Not only was it a great location, but it was also offered at a great price and it was tiny! Yes, it needed work, lots of work, but we turned it into a lovely commercial spot perfect to do business. It was revived into a perfect photography studio.
Then, life happened and priorities changed we ended up selling our beloved commercial property. Don’t worry, it was a good thing!
If anything, it makes us want to find another and another and another! There’s nothing like cozying up in a corner and searching for tiny commercial spots to get my creative juices flowing and seeing the potential. I just love it! We will never forgot how it felt owning a brick and mortar business – amazing, proud and accomplished. One day we hope to do it again, but the in mean time, we want to help out those who also share a common interest and love seeing the hidden potentials in tiny spots. Even better those who are looking to start their business. This is your spot!
